Monkey River Boat & Jungle Tour
This tour experience will start at 8:00 a.m. with a boat ride from Placencia to Monkey River Village. As a local resident of Monkey River, I will share my knowledge of the river and its inhabitants, such as crocodiles, iguanas, river turtles and colorful tropical birds. Along the river we will have close encounters with black howler monkeys and hear their distinctive calls. We will take a guided hike along the nature trails where I will point out the wildlife, medical plants and insects. After the trails we will make our way to the village to have lunch at a locally owned restaurant. On our boat ride back, we will pause for manatee sightings in their coastal habitats.
Guests should wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring their sunglasses, sunscreen and bug repellant. Binoculars and cameras are encouraged. Tour duration is approximately 4 1/2-5 hours.
Lunch, park fees and Government tax are included in your tour package.
Fishing Charters
Start your day with a personalized fishing experience. We will go trolling outside the Belize Barrier Reef where we will go for wahoo, dorado, barracuda, and tuna. You’ll also have the opportunity to deep sea bottom fish for large snappers, amberjacks, and groupers.
Bring your sunscreen, sunglasses and hat. Lunch & park fees are included.

Snorkeling & Island Hopping
Encounter vibrant tropical reef fish amongst the coral gardens in the crystal clear waters off the Placencia coast. Snorkelers of all levels can explore this amazing ecosystem. Protected by the Barrier Reef, sea turtles, stingrays, spotted eagle rays and nurse sharks glide beneath the surface. We will venture to Moho Caye, Laughing Bird Caye or the Silk Cayes. Lunch and park fees are included.
The Island Hopping Tour lets you explore one island to another, each with its own unique charm. Guests are responsible for their own lunch at one of the restaurants at either Ray Caye or King Lewey Island.
Costs and duration of this tour are flexible, depending on your island preferences and group size. A truly personalized and memorable experience.
